Meet Anya in Poland

Anya, age 8, left her hometown in Ukraine in March, 2022. Since then, she has lived in Poland.

The past 8 months have been stressful and scary. She misses her home, her school, her friends.

In October 2022, the resettlement center in Brasov hosted a special event: a CWB clown show. Anya played, lept in the air, and laughed. She said, “I am so happy. I don’t remember the last time I was this happy.”
